Calling Derrick for top-10.

Also cheering for Mattie Suver, formally of Laramie High School.

#3

I think that might be a little optimistic, although I’d love to see that. I think top 15-20 is more reasonable.

#4

This would have been a good experience for Sarah Baxter as it was for Ritz back in the day. But you have to run the trials to run the race.

#5

I am intentionally being optimistic but the guy has only had great races this year.

#6

As an IL homer, I would love to see Schrobilgen have a great race

#7

Fair enough. 13:12 in March (or was it February?) is studly.

#8

The rest of the world and race specific info here

#9

Am I the only one having trouble believing Gebrhiwet is only 18? But besides that it’ll be interesting to see if all that snow will affect the East African teams.

#10

I’m sure he has nothing to gain by falsifying his age

#11

You’re far from the only one.

#12

I really hope my sarcasm detector is broken.

#13

Yeah, it’s not like he’s pitching in the Little League World Series.

#14

Regardless of age, if I were him I would run the senior race.

#15

If I were him I would say that I was 12 and say something about how even if you’re 12 and look like you’re twenty something, you too can achieve anything with hard work and determination.

#16

Ten quick facts on the event, FYI…

#17

I’ve been to WXC a few times to watch and nothing really seems to stop them. Belfast 1999 was cold rain in shin deep mud and they destroyed the field. If anything, they have a further advantage as they don’t seem to hold back for fear of injury.

#18

Well I was talking about the age suspicion, but that’s good to know.

#19

Let’s go team USA!

a possible link to a live stream might be found here I have no idea if it is a valid site but I’ve seen it on a couple of T&FBoards- actual links will be posted 7AM EDT on this site>
