Centro. I know he had a bad race in birmingham, but the only other real threat is Manzano. And, as shown by many other races, the rarely seen “good Leo” would have to make an appearance in order to take down centro. Casey and Blankenship have had great showings this season, but they’re not in the same league.

I voted Centro, but keep in mind Good Leo has a much higher probability of showing up given that it is a championship race. Very rarely does Bad Leo show up at any national meet.

Will Blankenship go to the line. He ran 8;30ish 2 mile Sat how much does that change his chances for top 4?
As Hutching might say I hope it’s a useful pace straightaway the gun.

Will Rupp double and run the 1000 45-50 minutes after the mile?
Think he stands a better chance at a check in the 1000.

edit as of 9:45 PM EST both are on the start list.

Centro running away.

Wetmore says that there comes a point where you just can’t squeeze out any juice that isn’t there. Leo’s penchant for championships, Casey’s breakout 2014/indoor 2015 are all great, but Centro is the superior animal. Just better than anyone else in America right now.
