Dartmouth’s distance runners aren’t the only ones having successes in Eugene.
Sean Furey, 2 x MA All State Champ from Methuen '00, Dartmouth record holder, now living and training in California, made the Olympic team in the javelin. He placed 4th overall, but places 1-2 do not have the Olympic A standard.
In the qualifying round, Ben Lincoln (Hingham '09/ Wake Forest record holder) was 14th, 233’3".

Craig Kinsley (Fairfield CT, Brown) was the 3rd place finisher in the javelin.

Kate Grace Yale thru 4:17:)

Brown/Wheating/Gagnon thru w/3:41’s:D
Masters out with 3:42.71 missed by .15:(

Cabral (Glastonbury, CT) 2nd in Steeple qualifying for Oly
It also appears he went pro (NIKE) between the heats and finals:)

On a slightly different note, it’s good to see the inimitable Tommy Meagher working the starting line.

Abby D’Ag makes the “A” 15:19.98 but finishes 5th:( .19 out of 3rd:cool:
Great for the 20 yr old:D
