USA needs an update at Mens 800  :imp:

Murphy in Nicky Gum out

IAAF prelim list 800 meters: , Erik, Casimir Loxsom and Murphy

On a sad note in the W800 Wilson injured and out.

USA NEWS: Riley Dolezal, a 29-year-old middle school gym teacher in West Fargo, N.D. got his Jav Q by winning NACAC

Hasn’t True said that he would only be doing the 5k? Does that open up a spot for Diego Estrada (next/only other guy in the USATF field with the standard), or is the US just sending Rupp/Mead?

Hasn’t True said that he would only be doing the 5k?
Chris Chavez via RunBlogRun:
True finished second in the 5,000-meter at the U.S.A. Track and Field Outdoor Championships last month and also qualified in the men’s 10,000-meter run. True has decided to only run the 5,000-meter race in China and now the focus shifts on preparing for the World Championship.

I suppose now would be a good time as any to ask. USATF seems to be in a very giving mood lately.

Accepted entries at Worlds :

Estrada is listed so if True is set on 5k only then he will presumably get a shot.

Odds on a mysterious “hamstring injury” conveniently keeping Makhloufi out of the 800 again?

I assume his NACAC Q puts him after the by right qualifiers in time order.
Centro,Leo,Robbie and Ben make up the provisional USA 1500 entries list
