Mumbai bombings

Proves that the Indian/Pakistan conflict is both intractable and un-ignorable. It’s one of the most dangerous trigger points in the world, and yet there’s little we or anybody can do about it. Yes, there isn’t conclusive evidence who did it yet, but who else could it be at this point? Tamil separatists? Sikhs seeking revenge for Amristar? Don’t think so. Pakistan’s and India’s foreign ministers are due to meet in a couple weeks, and this is just the sort of tactic to derail the peace process which was only revived last winter, after having been suspended after the last bombing.

As you’re suggesting, this has the potential to be HUGE.

or fizzle down into nothing. Lets hope it’s the later.
