Rooting real hard for George Abyad of Princeton, my former captain of my hs track team and of course rooting for my school Rhode Island.

Expect good things out of the 5k- from what I was told, Kyle Heath is pacing for a good bit of it.

How did the race play out?

4:30, 9:01 and then Heath stepped off and Cabral pulled away [Cabral was up on Heath before 2 miles]. Merber was sort of hanging on to the back of the pack, Tito was probably 25-30m back at one point and bridged the gap beautifully in the last 1500m, then got a great jump into second and was heading for Donn, Merber then finally got around the other guys on the corner and caught Tito with 15m left, who was fading from a real hard last 600m or so. Cabral’s lead [8-10s at one point] was seriously dented in that last 500m, down to 5ish seconds.

Nick Wade is going to do some great things in the future. He has been putting up solid times all year, and just keeps getting better. 1:52 his senior year to 1:49 now is great. Also, if my memory serves, he ran a PR of 3:55 in the 1500 earlier this outdoors which is a considerable improvement over his senior year PR(i think it was 4:24?) - he just keeps progressing.
