Day 2 w/o Brooks PR Mile results

#1

I’ve tweaked search engine searches, called the University of Washington and loaded these pages repeatedly:

No luck and this is all we have: RunBlogRun on Twitter: "B1m: 1. Trevor Gilley, 4:08.24, 2.Joe Hardy, 4:09.88, 3. Brock Baker, 4:09.93, 4. Chris Marco, 4:10.43, 5. Jacob Burcham, 4:10.79, #brookspr"

What is going on with these results? Anyone?

This is excellent! Thank you!

#4

Strong first post. Welcome to tt.

#5

Marco really took it out for the first 600m or so and then kind of backed off, but no one wanted to go with him. I thought he might end up running away with it.

Great run for Gilley though. I thought it was a pretty gutsy effort.

#10

saw this, Ches only entered in 5 events

#11

That is just so stupid to me.

#12

Can Cheserek break Webb’s record?

#13

It’ll be his 4th or 5th race, not sure how likely that will be.

#14

I wasn’t sure of the order of events. If that’s the case then that will be very unlikely. He could have a Verzbikas Indoor Nationals 2011 type of day though

#15

Cheserek already had a better meet than just about anyone in history, when Lukas won the 2 mile he had Ches stalking him every bit of the way won mile in a slower time than Ches ran last year, and last year Ches had already run 13:57 at 5K, earlier

Last year Cheserek:

Anchored 3:25 indoor sprint med in 1:50 I think

Anchored 10:10 DMR win, in I think 4:07

Won Two mile easy in 8:50

second in mile where he kind of got caught by surprise, plus had to be tired in 4:09

In fact some have run that many high quality efforts in a two day meet in three eventts, not sure about 4?

I doubt he runs 5 events, by the way

#16

For his sake I hope he doesn’t run 5. clearly he’s one of the few to ever be able to run that type of schedule but I don’t think its smart.
