Ethan Moehn of Monroe will have a nice triple going at state. He’ll be in the 4x800, 1600 (4:19.26) and defending his individual state title in the 800 (1:54.00)
Their relay consists of Steve Christianson (1:59.43), Alex Brakenflau (50.56), Jake Hirsbrunner (1:55.47) and Moehn (1:54.00). That’s a very good team on paper!
I am predicting that Monroe breaks their D2 state record (7:50.13) but do not eclipse their school record of 7:42.91. Moehn will repeat as 800 champ and beat his own 1:54.00 record from last year and then run 4:16. Not sure if that will win D2 but it might!
