Conference Meet Results

#1

Little disappointed with the lack of results being posted this spring. I know some conference meets started Tuesday and no results have been posted. Wright County Conference meet was today; Waconia Girls win and Glencoe-Silver Lake Boys win their 6th straight title. Parker Wharram from Mound Westonka wins 1600 and 3200 in 4:29 and 9:52 with Troy Koivisto from Dassel-Cokato just benind him at 4:31 and 9:56. Tanner Shaefer from Glencoe-Silver Lake wins the 800 in 2 flat.

North Suburban Conference results are on Raceberry. Zutz runs 9:16.75 for the 3200 which is now the best time in the state so far. Also ran 4:18 for the 1600. Looks like Totino held out Braun and Dado for TT state.

dissapointed?

Since Dyestat merged with ESPN I believe many of the MN regular posters went MIA and have yet to be found. With two posting boards, it splits posters even more. If you haven’t checked out the Dyestat board in a while, it is vastly improved.

I know my interest has decreased a lot since the merger.

This site is more organized and has a lot more posters then the other one, so yes I’m disappointed with the number of posters on here and the lack of results being shared from them.

Rosemount wins South Suburban Conference.
Day 2 Highlights: Chandler Dye wins 800 in 1:56.xx, Apple Valley wins 4x100m, Prior Lake wins 4x400m with Bruha kicking in the last 90 meters, Faysal from Burnsville splits a 52.1 on the anchor leg of the 4x400, Herschell wins 100m in 11 flat, and that’s what I remember of the top of my head for guys. Eastview girl won the open 800m also. I’ll upload the mile at some point this week for anyone interested in it.

Rosvold won the 1600 in 4:22.xx, Rosemount went with their distance 4 x 400 with a less than fresh Temple and Dye, no Hausmann, Mergens, or Deng. LN wins the girls side with a big performance in the field. Taylor Browning wins the 100 & 200 and Chanel Miller wins both Hurdle races and teams with Browning for a 4 x 100 victory for AV. Pratt wins the 400 and is on the winning 4 x 400 & 4 x 800 for Rosemount.

And looks like the question in March about Rosen upsetting Dye has been transformed into the question of can Rosen even make Rosemount’s 4x8 squad?

#12

They had all SSC results.

Did you tape the slow heat of the 1600? The Nicholas Hughes had an amazing kick to get the win and I’d like to watch that again.

#13

Joe Jackson runs 3 races over 800 meters?

#14

nope, he wasn’t in the 4X800.

Northwest suburban:
Blaine wins 4x8
Dan Nielsen wins mile in 4:24 followed by Alex Johnson in 4:25 and Connor Olson in 4:26. Unofficial timessssssssssss
Alex Johnson wins the 32 in 9:43, Connor Olson second in 9:44, Tyler Olson third in 9:51, Brad Hartman fourth in 9:55 or so.
Osseo won the 4x4 but got DQed for some intense elbowing so Blaine took the win.
Armstrong guy wins open 8 in 1:57. he’s so damn smooth.

I don’t know if anyone cares but nikefree likes results so I thought I’d try.

The results had the wrong name then.

Appreciate it. Still looking for Mississippi 8 results. Great showing by Maple Grove in the 32. Impressive times by an 8th grader, kinda pulling a lebron move by going to wayzata for “hockey” which I’m sure he is better at then running

#18

No, I was lacking in battery life, and had cheering/“Coaching advice” to give.

Good for you, your prediction that Chandler would beat Matt at some point came true. He had a bad race.

#20

Shakopee wins the Missota conference on the guys side, beats chan by 32 points and red wing by 35.

4x8 - Chan won 8:28
400 - Chan’s goes 1, 2 with 50.3x and 50.6x
800 - winner was 1:57 (can’t remember who the winner was)
