Boston Marathon 2010

Looking to be another solid field:

Deriba Merga
Abderrahim Goumri
Ryan Hall
Meb Keflezighi
Chala Dechase
Gilbert Yegon (also known as Gilbert Koech)
Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot (Not the 4x winner, different guy, still VERY fast, and young too)
Josh Rohatinsky
Jason Lehmkuhle (veteran, look for him in top10)

If Merga doesn’t DNF this time around, then look for him to clean up. And if Hall has a good race (big IF, i’m not exactly his biggest fan), then he should be in close contention as well. When Hall’s on, he’s ON.

(Another major player Evans Cheruiyot withdrew Tuesday)

The race will be broadcast on Universal Sports, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30.

The thing I hate about Boston, is its always when I’m in class. Depending on what we do, I think I’m going to bring my laptop and watch. It looks to be a stellar field this year, as always

Filipe’s Boston Marathon Forecast:

Temperatures in the mid-40s to mid-50s from gun time until the end of the race…

Winds from 12 - 17 miles per hour from the northwest with gusts to 25 possible…

Partly to mostly cloudy skies…

When the hell did Universal become pay-per-view? …not cool

Despite his poor showing on the newton hills, Meb didn’t fall that far short of a PR

Great showing for Hall and Meb.

Ryan Hall’s singlet was sweet
